Screens

You write the rules. The agent runs them.

Every setting is yours, in plain English, in the app, on every plan.

  • GreetingWhat it says first

Your firm name, your opening line, the voice and the speed. The AI disclosure and recording notice are part of every greeting and cannot be switched off.

  • ScreeningWhat it asks

Your attorneys write the questions per practice area: state, representation, deadlines, whatever decides a fit. The agent asks them in either language and never gives legal advice.

  • RoutingWho goes where

New inquiries go to intake screening. Current clients are recognized, and anyone who asks for a person is put through during office hours.

  • HearingHow it listens

Background-noise filter, fast or accurate transcription, and the words to recognize, pre-filled with your firm, your attorneys and your practice areas.

Books

Books a real slot. Never a double booking.

Your calendar is the source of truth, not a copy of it.

Also on every call

Each call ends with an outcome.

Not a message pad. What the agent does, and what gets logged.

  • LanguageEvery plan

    Answers in Spanish

Switches when the caller asks, repeats the disclosure in Spanish and runs the same intake through to a booking.

  • Caller IDAutomatic

    Knows who is calling back

Recognizes a returning client from caller ID, confirms one detail and picks up the matter where it left off.

  • ConflictsEvery plan

    Checks for conflicts first

Asks for the other party and checks your client list before booking. If a conflict cannot be ruled out, it holds the time for your review. If one is found, a courteous decline.

  • BookingGoogle / Outlook

    Books a consultation

Offers real open slots from the right attorney's calendar, in the office's time zone, and sends the confirmation.

  • TransferOffice hours

Puts calls through to your team

In office hours, connects a caller who asks for a person to someone at your firm. If nobody answers, it comes back on the line and books a call-back or takes a message.

  • MessageCurrent clients

    Takes a message

Emails it to the firm and notes it on the matter. New callers are screened instead, never sent to a message pad.

No voicemail. No busy tone. No dead line.

Questions attorneys ask

Yes. The default greeting states that the assistant is automated, cannot give legal advice, and that the call may be recorded. These guardrails are locked and cannot be switched off.

Yes. During office hours the agent can put a caller through to a person at your firm. If nobody answers, the agent returns to the caller and books a call-back or takes a message.

The agent comes back on the line and offers the next step: a call-back booked in the attorney’s office time zone, or, for a current client, a message emailed to the firm. The caller is never left on a dead line, and the attempt is logged on the call record and the matter.

Yes. Returning callers are recognized from caller ID, without a verification question. Greeting a caller by name is an optional setting, off by default, and applies only when exactly one client is on file for that number. Family law and immigration matters keep the neutral greeting. Before changing anything about a client’s matter, the agent confirms one detail with the caller.

No. Forward your existing number to Basalix using the dial codes shown in the app. You can also publish a new US local number; numbers are included on every plan.

Nothing per call. Solo Intake includes 500 minutes a month and Firm Intake 1,200. Beyond that, minutes are $0.75 each from a prepaid wallet with a hard spend cap you set.
